With the help of 15-time Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys, CBS This Morning announced the first set of nominations for the 58th Annual Grammy Awards on Monday, Dec. 7 at 8:15 a.m. EST. Most importantly, the singer-songwriter revealed the musicians vying for Album of the Year. They are Alabama Shakes for their soul blues rock sophomore album, ?Sound and Color?; Kendrick Lamar?s funky neo-soul inspired hip-hop masterpiece, ?To Pimp a Butterfly?;
?Traveller,? the southern rock debut by country music singer Chris Stapleton; Taylor Swift?s synth-pop breakthrough ?1989?; and The Weeknd?s hipster R&B jam, ?Beauty Behind the Madness.? The Grammys return to L.A.'s Staples Center on Feb. 15, 2016, and will be broadcast in high-definition and 5.1 surround sound on CBS from 8?11:30 p.m. EST. No host has been announced.
