Shaquille O?Neal apparently didn?t know Kobe Bryant made his retirement announcement with a published poem.
The former NBA star stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers on Monday night, and was asked, what does he think about Kobe Bryant's retirement announcement?
O?Neal said, "the problem with mega-stars, when you play at a high level for so long and then you come back down to normality, it doesn't look right, it doesn't feel right.
He added, ?you start to question yourself, is it really time to do something else? And when you you see Kobe Bryant with twelve, thirteen points, that's not the Kobe we know, love and remember. so when he made the announcement, I wasn't really surprised.?
What Shaquille didn?t know, is that Bryant made the announcement with a published poem.
O'Neal asked Seth Meyers,
"No he didn't -- he did?! Like, 'roses are red, violets are blue?'" "A poem, seriously? You're pulling my leg!"
