Following a battle with cancer, Keith Urban?s Father has died.
The singer?s father Robert , died Saturday evening following a long and difficult fight with the deadly disease.
Speaking to UsWeekly, Keith said: "I've been deeply touched by the outpouring of love and support that Nicole and I, and our family, have received since my dad's passing on Saturday night.?
He added, His long battle with cancer is now over and he is finally at peace."
Earlier this week, the country star was reduced to when he revealed Robert had checked into a hospice and had just "weeks to live."
Urban said that this has all come at a very strange time where it's typical of a career that has extreme highs and extreme lows all often at the exact same time. So the exhibit is bittersweet a little bit because his dad is the catalyst for all of this.
Keith didn?t reviled the type of cancer his father had been battling and whether he was being cared for in a hospice in their native Australia or America.
