The father of the Star Wars franchise, George Lucas, has seen the newest movie, The Force Awakens. After he sold Lucasfilm and its properties to Disney in 2012, the film is the first that he's not involved with. Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy reported to THR second hand, "He really liked it." It's a testiment to the respect shown Lucas that he is one of the first people to see the finished cut of the movie outside the cast and crew. He'll also be attending both premieres of the film, in Los Angeles, California and London, England, later this month as a special guest.
