British actor James McAvoy has issued a public plea to moviemakers behind the ?Star Wars? franchise to give him a role in the next film. The ?X-Men: First Class? star is a huge fan of the sci-fi classics, and admits he is desperate to be included in the new trilogy, which begins with the release of ?Star Wars: Episode VII ? The Force Awakens? later this month. James insists he will even work behind the scenes if he is not given an acting role. He told Britain's KISS FM, "I?d go and make the tea for the guy that washes the knickers! I would crawl naked over broken glass to sniff the exhaust pipe in a laundry truck that took away the dirty knickers of Emperor Palpatine.?
