The singer was rushed to the hospital Wednesday morning after falling ill. According to TMZ, Carey, 45, started feeling sick after her appearance at Pier 1 in New York City on Tuesday night. Her team reportedly called emergency services after they found the songstress showed signs of severe dehydration. Carey is said to be currently on an IV drip to combat a severe case of the flu. She will be released from the hospital in time for her Hot 97 ?Hot for the Holidays? concert in New Jersey on Saturday.
