VIDEO : Reese Witherspoon Wants to Take the Creator of Barbie to the Big Screen

Reese Witherspoon is in talks to make a movie about the creator of the Barbie doll.
The Academy Award-winning actress and film producer wants to bring the story of , Ruth Handler, who created and popularized the iconic Barbie doll, to the big screen.
Witherspoon and her producing partner, Bruna Papandrea, have partnered with Bold Films through their production company, Pacific Standard, to option the rights to the book ,Barbie and Ruth: The Story of the World?s Most Famous Doll and the Woman Who Created Her.
The actress is working on developing the story and may also have a role in the movie.
