Helen Mirren is in talks to join Will Smith in New Line?s comedic drama, Collateral Beauty. Mirren will play an actor hired by the colleagues to play a part in their grand plan. The Devil Wears Prada and Marley & Me helmer David Frankel is directing the project, which has a script by Allan Loeb. Beauty centers on a New York advertising exec who experiences a deep personal tragedy. Mirren was just feted at the Gotham Awards for her film work this year, which included starring in the Holocaust drama Woman in Gold and appearing as Hedda Hopper in Bryan Cranston?s Black List drama Trumbo.
