According to Alex Pettyfer, when it comes to Magic Mike, there was more drama off-screen than on the big screen. The 25-year-old English actor who starred in the movie revealed in a recent podcast with Bret Easton Ellis that his experience shooting the movie wasn't the most pleasant, and his co-star and producer Channing Tatum made it clear that he wasn't very fond of him. Pettyfer claims that he didn't speak to others on the set and, "sat in the corner and listened to music because he "had been told that anything that I do was wrong by my reps." However, the problems that arose with Tatum apparently stemmed from an outside matter that involved renting a New York apartment from Channing's friends. Pettyfer and his then-fiancée Riley Keough moved out shortly after renting the pad because Alex allegedly couldn't breathe due to what he believed was mold and dust in the apartment.
