John Cleese has finally paid off his ex-wife.
The 76-year-old comedian has been paying his third spouse for the last seven years since they divorced in 2008.
Alyce Faye Eichelberger, an American psychotherapist, had been married to Cleese for 16 years.
She was awarded a total of £12m in finance and assets at a rate of £600k-a-year.
The creative genius got his theatrical start in college while attending Cambridge.
As a member of the Cambridge Footlights Revue, Cleese performed a sketch known as Cloak and Dagger for the 1963 performance, "A Clump of Plinths."
The show was latter changed to the Cambridge Circus.
Cleese has since remarried to Jennifer Wade, despite her being 28 years his junior.
She also encourages him to stay on top of modern culture.
