Comedian Tracy Morgan is convinced he was sent back from ?the other side? by God after awaking from a coma following his fatal 2014 car accident. The former ?30 Rock? star was left in a critical condition after the limousine he was traveling in collided with a truck on a New Jersey highway last year, killing his friend and fellow passenger James ?Jimmy Mack? McNair.
In the immediate aftermath of the incident, Morgan spent days in a coma with a traumatic brain injury, and now he reveals during that period he ?spoke? to God, who told him it wasn?t his time to die.
?I went to the other side,? the 47-year-old tells Complex magazine of his near-death experience. ?This is not something I?m making up. Do you know what God said to me? He said, ?Your room ain?t ready [sic]. I still got something for you to do.? And here I am, doing an interview with you.?
