Top Dawg Entertainment dropped a remixed version of Jay Rock's Kendrick Lamar-featuring "Easy Bake" on Wednesday, titled "Traffic Jam" ? that features a new verse from Lamar.
The remix gives a fresher, brighter funk beat to "Easy Bake" and Lamar responds in kind with a verse that kicks off with vibrant alliteration and ends with a boast that he's an all-star like Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul.
But that?s not all.
Top Dawg rapper SZA also plays a more prominent role on the remix than she did on the 90059 version, as her soulful outro from "Easy Bake" becomes the party-starting intro for "Traffic Jam."
?Traffic Jam? comes with courtesy of producers Antydote, thankgod4cody and Chris Calor, with MixedByAli serving as engineer.
Lamar and Rock recently wrapped up the To Pimp a Butterfly rapper's eight-date Kunta's Groove Session tour.
