It has taken 15 years to break NSYNC'S album sales and it took a superstar like Adele to do it.
25 sold 900,000 units on iTunes alone the first day of its release which means *NSYNC has to say bye bye bye to their longstanding record for highest album sales in a single week. In March 2000, No Strings Attached sold 2.416 million copies during its first week on the charts.
Taylor Swift also will say good bye because before 25's release, 1989 was still the best-selling album of 2015. Clearly, having an album title that's just numbers is the key to selling records these days.
