Zayn Malik has recently reached out to a former One Direction bandmate for the first time since he quit the group. Malik admitted he and Liam Payne have laid their differences aside and are hoping to collaborate in the near future.
Malik said "He understands that it's my thing, that I had to do that, and that basically he wants to meet up and sit down and have a good chat in person and he wants to do some music and work on some stuff aside from being in the band, which we always wanted to do anyway."
Since leaving the Little Things hitmakers in March, Zayn has been busy carving out a solo career in the industry and is proud that he's created music that's deemed "cool."
