Matthew McConaughey is in talks to star in The Dark Tower. The Dallas Buyers Club actor is reportedly being eyed to take on a lead role in the upcoming film adaptation of Stephen King's series of novels of the same name. Although the deal is in its early stages, preliminary discussions are said to have taken place and both parties are interested, according to TheWrap. McConaughey is initially thought to have been offered the role of gunslinger Rolan Deschain but is now said to be considering exploring his dark side by instead playing the villainous Man in Black.
