Ryan Gosling will be star alongside Harrison Ford in the Blade Runner sequel.
Goslin said in an interview with Collider this past weekend, that it was the opportunity to work with director Denis Villeneuve and cinematographer Roger Deakins.
The actor added that Deakins was the one who convinced him to take on the role.
The movie was written by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green and the story takes place several decades after the original, which was set in a dystopian 2019 Los Angeles.
