One Direction tours the world, sells out stadiums, breaks hearts ? and files its tax paperwork. The band paid £8.24 million ($12.5 million) in UK corporate taxes last year, compared to Facebook's £4,327. Sales of the band's albums, concert tickets and merchandise led the band to a pretax profit of £45.4 million, 10-times the previous year's figure, while its costs have gone down, according to trade publication Music Business Worldwide. The band's five original members ? Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson ? became owners of equal shares of 1D Media in 2010.
