Beverly Hills 90210 star Jason Priestley on Monday was thrown from a horse while shooting a scene in Toronto for The Code, a Canadian crime drama for Entertainment One.
Priestley "fell from a horse and was subsequently taken to the hospital as a precaution. He was examined by doctors and discharged the same day," eOne and Canadian TV network Global Television said in a statement. On Wednesday, Priestley tweeted that he got his "bell rung," having suffered a mild concussion.
The network statement added that Priestley is in "great spirits and looking forward to returning to work next week." The actor, who plays Matt Shade, an ex-pro hockey player who uses his celebrity in his career as a private investigator in The Code, tweeted that doctors advised him to take a few days off.
