Avril Lavigne appears to be on the road to recovery amid her battle with Lyme disease. The singer wrote on Instagram this week, "Overcoming Lyme Disease. Feels good to have my Dr. smile and tell me how much progress I am making." She posted two photos: One shows her lying on her back and being treated on a medical cot, while the other shows her lying on her side and smiling while displaying a round Band-Aid on the inside of her elbow, placed there after a blood draw. In June, Lavigne said on Good Morning America that she was about halfway through her treatment, was "doing a lot better" and was expected to "make a 100 percent recovery."
