Jason Aldean is officially back on Spotify. The country star's sudden reappearance follows a year-long hiatus, during which time his music could not be heard on the streaming service. In November 2014, Aldean was among the first artists to follow Taylor Swift?s lead and withdraw his catalog from the website. This was not long after he had set a country-album record by racking up more than three million streams of his album Old Boots, New Dirt in its debut week. Nevertheless, Aldean's albums were returned to Spotify this week. In a Facebook post, he wrote, "Everyone in the music business is trying to figure out how to make streaming work financially, so that the creative community gets paid fairly. I'm happy to have been part of that dialog and will continue to be as it all unfolds."
