James Bond (a.k.a. Daniel Craig) stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert Wednesday night to promote Spectre, the iconic spy's latest adventure, and he brought along a rather unexpected look at the film. The bit began with Colbert taking Craig to task for Bond's history of needlessly destroying the beautiful cars that he's given to drive, a criticism that Craig promised would be addressed in the new 007 movie. Insisting that the issue would be handled with "A certain amount of gritty realism," the actor introduced a "clip" from Spectre as proof. The scene begins in Rome, as Bond races into a budget rental car company called RentalCo in desperate need of a getaway vehicle now that he?s inevitably destroyed his Aston Martin. Unfortunately for 007, RentalCo agent Randy (Colbert) doesn't really care that Bond is trying to elude a bunch of assassins. From there, MI6's top spy learns the hard way that getting a new set of wheels isn't quite as easy in the civilian world.
