As more police unions nationwide join the boycott against Quentin Tarantino after he spoke at RiseUpOctober's anti-police brutality rally, the movie director appeared on All In With Chris Hayes to clarify his remarks. After being labeled as such by police unions across the nation, Tarantino said, "I'm not a cop hater. Anybody who acknowledges that there's a problem in law enforcement in this country right now is considered by law enforcement as part of the problem." Tarantino also admitted he was alarmed by the backlash from comments, adding, "I was surprised. I was under the impression I was American and had First Amendment rights and there was no problem with me going to an anti-police brutality protest and speaking my mind."
