The former?Daily Show? host signed a deal with HBO in an exclusive four-year production pact.
The partnership will start with short-form digital content to be showcased on HBO Now, HBO Go and other platforms.
John Stewart?s first project will entail timely short-form digital content created with pioneering digital technology. It will be refreshed on HBO Now multiple times throughout the day.
The deal also includes a first-look option for other film and TV ventures.
Stewart stepped down from hosting ?The Daily Show? this summer after 15 years in the job. He hosted the Academy Awards twice and wrote and directed the 2014 feature Rosewater.
