On Tuesday, Quentin Tarantino spoke out against police groups who called for a boycott of his films after the Oscar-winning director took part in a protest against police brutality last month. In his first public comments on the controversy, Tarantino told the Los Angeles Times he had never said nor implied that ?all cops are murderers,? and accused law enforcement groups of twisting his comments to deflect from the larger issue. Tarantino explained to the newspaper, "Instead of dealing with the incidents of police brutality that those people were bringing up, instead of examining the problem of police brutality in this country, better they single me out.?
