Adele has become the first recording artist in the digital age to break 1 million downloads for the Billboard Charts.
Her recently released single, "Hello," sold more than 1.1 million digital downloads in its first week.
According to data from Nielsen Music released on Monday, the second-place song only has 276,800 downloads.
The first single from her upcoming album, the music video for "Hello" topped more than 27 million views in its first 24-hours on Vevo.com
The previous best-selling digitally distributed song only cashed in on 636,000 downloads.
Adele's upcoming album, "25," will be her third studio record release.
The Grammy winner received six of the awards for her last album, "21."
