Selena Gomez is returning to the small screen. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Netflix has given a straight-to-series pickup to a project executive produced by the singer and former Disney Channel star. The series is based on the best-selling young adult novel 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher. Since her breakout series, The Wizards of Waverly Place, ended in 2012, Gomez has focused on films such as Spring Breakers, Hotel Transylvania and its sequel, as well as the upcoming Neighbors 2.
