Dick Clark?s New Year?s Rockin? Eve with Ryan Seacrest is getting the country treatment this year with Carrie Underwood headlining the festivities.

The 2016 celebratory show begins Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. ET. on ABC, bringing us straight to Times Square with appearances by Fergie and Jenny McCarthy.

American Idol alum Underwood, who?s reuniting with the show?s host Seacrest, said in a statement,

There?s nowhere else I?d rather be than New York?s Times Square, one of the most magical places in the world, to ring in the new year. It?s going to be a memorable night, and I can?t wait to celebrate with the world!
