A familiar face will host the Golden Globes in 2016.
Comedian and actor Ricky Gervais will return to emcee the show on Jan. 10.
His return follows three successful telecasts co-hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
Gervais hosted the awards ceremony in a three-year run from 2010 to 2012.
His first appear ended a string of Golden Globes without a host.
A statement from NBC Entertainment's chairman said they were excited to have him back.
Robert Greenblatt added, "fasten your seats belts."
