A new biography by J Randy Taraborrelli about pop superstar, Beyonce, says the singer was separated from her now husband, Jay-Z, back in 2005. He claims it was over rumors that Jay-Z was romantically linked to Rihanna. The book, Becoming Beyonce: The Untold Story, says that these rumors were allegedly started in order to raise public visibility of the then 17-year-old Rihanna, who was discovered by Jay-Z. Taraborrelli says, ?They spent maybe a year apart from each other because Beyoncé just wasn?t sure of what to make of the situation with Rihanna.?
