VIDEO : Simon Cowell Will Join America's Got Talent' Panel Next Year Year

Finally, Simon Cowell is going to get a chance to be mean on television. The black-T-shirt-clad Brit is joining the judging panel of America's Got Talent next season, NBC and Cowell's production company, Syco, announced Thursday. Cowell also broke the news on his own Twitter account: "The good news is America?s Got Talent is back next year and the even better news is so am I," he wrote. Too bad he's not a punctuation judge. Cowell is replacing departing AGT judge Howard Stern, who left at the end of Season 10 after joining the series in 2012.
