Anyone watching The X Factor U.K. on Sunday night may have heard a familiar voice come across their screen for 30 seconds.
The British singer Adele gives a soulful delivery over simple piano chords as the only image seen on the black screen are the lyrics of the beautifully somber tune. Many viewers recorded the clip and uploaded it on social media.
It?s been rumored that Adele?s next album ? the follow-up to her massively successful sophomore album 21 in 2011 ? will arrive on Nov. 20. However, Sony Music Entertainment hasn?t confirmed the release date. Adele?s publicist has declined to comment.
