Has it really been almost 10 years since the debut of High School Musical? Thanks to the Disney trilogy, we were introduced to the hollywood heartthrob, Zac Efron. In honors of Zac's 28th birthday today (Oct. 18) we'd like to reflect on Efron's growth as an actor over the years.
Zac has taken on characters such as Troy Bolton in the High School Musical trilogy, Link Larkin in Hairspray, and Charlie St. Cloud in well, Charlie St. Cloud.
Yet we have seen him emerge as more complex characters such as a U.S. marine sergeant in The Lucky One, a comedic relief in New Years Eve, a handsome doctor in Parkland, and a rambunctious frat boy in Neighbors. Zac has strayed away from his musical days and has proved his commitment to complex characters.
