It's election season, and you know what that means: a bunch of politicians royally ticking off classic rock bands by co-opting their songs. Thankfully, Stephen Colbert and his pal Jack Black are here to smooth over the edges by offering a song that is "generic enough not to offend anyone, but generic enough to be loved by everyone." The tune, tricked out with hip swings and cowboy-hat-wearing dancers, is super catchy and as splashy as the American flag: three basic colors and a bunch of boring shapes.
