Kal Penn has joined the cast of Hulu?s original comedy series ?Deadbeat,? slated to premiere on the streaming service next spring. Penn will star in all 13 episodes of the upcoming season three as a series regular and co-star with Tyler Labine, who plays a hapless medium who goes to any lengths to help New York City?s ghosts settle unfinished business. According to reports, Penn has been cast as Clyde, a stoner-entrepreneur who becomes Labine's business partner. The third season of ?Deadbeat? is slated to start production in New York on October 19.
