VIDEO : Danny Boyle Wouldn't Have Made 'Steve Jobs' Without Aaron Sorkin

If it weren't for Aaron Sorkin, director Danny Boyle says he wouldn't have been interested in a movie about Steve Jobs. The film was screened in Los Angeles Thursday.Written by Sorkin and directed by Boyle, it doesn?t take a standard biographical approach to the story. Instead, it opts to tell the story of Jobs and those close to him backstage in the minutes before three product launches: the Macintosh, the NeXT, and the iMac. At the screening, Kate Winslet said that the friendship between her character, Joanna Hoffman, and Michael Fassbender?s Steve Jobs was how she hopes the audience learns of a different part of the man who invented the Mac. ' Steve Jobs' releases October 23rd. It also stars Seth Rogen, Jeff Daniels, and Michael Stuhlbarg.
