Drake has offered to finance a new series of Top Boy. Ashley Walters - who played drug boss Dushane in the Channel 4 drama before it was axed after series two - has revealed the Hotline Bling rapper was devastated to hear there wouldn't be a third series and even offered to pay for it. He told Not For The Radio: "We were going into meetings. Top Boy is the sort of brand we know would sell to Netflix, Amazon. The numbers speak for themselves.
"So we had that power and the production company still owned the rights. And Drake made an offer and they turned it down. I don't know what is going on with it - but I heard they are talking about a Top Boy Chicago."
