Matthew McConaughey will present Reese Witherspoon with the mid-career achievement award at the American Cinematheque?s gala on Oct. 30th. McConaughey received the honor last year. The Cinematheque additionally announced the first Sid Grauman Award, presented by Hill Valley, to Jeffrey Katzenberg at the Hyatt Regency Plaza ball. Kenny Chesney is slated to perform at the ceremony. This is the 29th presentation of the Cinematheque honor. The award is given to artists who are making a significant contribution to films.
