Since he was last seen in May at the Cannes Film Festival, Matthew McConaughey has lost his beard and gained several pounds for his latest film role as seen on the set of Gold filming scenes in NYC on Sunday. The Oscar-winning actor has put on several pounds and is sporting a balding hairdo to portray the character Kenny Wells. Wells is a hapless entrepreneur attempting to find gold in the jungle of Indonesia.This look is a dramatic change from McConaughey?s normally trim figure and hearkens back to when the 45-year-old Texan dropped a considerable amount of weight for his role as Ron Woodruff in Dallas Buyers Club.
