Having championed a boycott of Israel for years, Roger Waters has taken aim at Bon Jovi for a scheduled concert in Tel Aviv on Saturday.
The co-founder of Pink Floyd has called upon musicians to boycott performing in the country in light of Palestinian plight.
In an open letter penned to the rock group, Waters published his opinion through Salon on Friday.
Citing numerous atrocities but also instances of courage, Waters said, "the dead can?t remind you of the crimes you?ve ignored."
But his letter was not a proactive call for alarm.
Recently interviewed by a Hebrew publication, singer Jon Bon Jovi said he was aware of Water's boycott, but it did not interest him.
Bon Jovi added, "I told my managers to give one simple answer: That I?m coming to Israel and I?m excited to come.?
