VIDEO : M. Night Shyamalan?s Next Movie to Star James McAvoy

After Joaquin Phoenix passed on the project, director M. Night Shyamalan and producer Jason Blum have acted quickly and found his replacement in James McAvoy. Sources tell Variety the ?X-Men: First Class? star is in talks to star in the helmer?s next untitled supernatural thriller. As with any Shyamalan project, plot details are under lock and key, but the project will likely include elements of the supernatural. Given Blum?s involvement, the project?s budget will probably be relatively small, which would be more on par with Shyamalan?s ?The Visit,? which has overperformed at the box office since bowing in September, bringing in $53 million and counting in U.S. grosses on a budget of $5 million.
