It's been more than 10 years since Will Smith ? Oscar-nominated actor, '90s nostalgia beacon, father of the greatest minds of our generation, and, oh yeah, Grammy-winning rapper ? released his last full-length album, Lost and Found. The record was tepidly received; perhaps as a result, Smith decided to put music aside and concentrate instead on just being a movie star. But while you can take the celebrity out of West Philly, you can't take the West Philly out of the celebrity. Smith just shocked everyone by dropping a guest verse on "Fiesta (Remix)," a collaboration with Colombia electro outfit Bomba Estéreo.
As in the original song, the duo takes care of the song's Spanish verses and chorus while Smith enters with a weirdly accented verse around the 1:05 mark. His first words: "Hola mamacita/Go get me a beer-a." Is that the 2015 version of "ciga cigar right from Cuba Cuba/just bite it/it's for the look/I don't light it"?
