The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Robert De Niro will be honored with the Hollywood Career Achievement Award.
The 72-year-old venerable actor will receive the acclaim at the 19th Hollywood Film Awards.
Beginning in the 1960's, De Niro's casting call reads at great length after 50 years in film.
He even has three films slated for release before the end of the year; one in each month.
De Niro also began producing in 1989 with We're No Angels.
The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Nov.
