The singer explained that when he was younger, he struggled with a stutter that still comes back when he's under pressure. He described himself as "a very odd child," adding that he wore "big, big blue National Health glasses." Ed even shared his theory as to why he became a singer, joking, "The reason I became a musician is God looked down and said, 'You probably need some help getting laid.'"
