Ellen Page stopped by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Tuesday and got extremely candid about her emotional coming-out speech at the Time to THRIVE conference in Las Vegas in 2014. "I feel so grateful for it," she said, "I feel so grateful to feel how I feel now, compared to [how I felt] when I was a closeted person. Ellen was on the show to promote her new movie Freeheld , which is based on the true story of New Jersey police officer Laurel Hester, who tried to pass on her pension benefits to her partner, Stacie Andree, after being diagnosed with lung cancer.
