Ellar Coltrane has lined up his next gig after his breakout role in Oscar nominee ?Boyhood,? having signed on to join Tom Hanks and Emma Watson in James Ponsoldt?s ?The Circle,? sources confirm to Variety. James Ponsoldt is directing from his own script, based on the Dave Eggers novel. Eggers? novel focuses on a young woman who is hired for a big job at an online monopoly called the Circle, which links users? personal emails, social media, banking and purchasing with a universal operating system. The novel turns into a thriller about the perils of life in a digital age where privacy is obsolete.
