Cathriona White, the 30-year-old girlfriend of actor Jim Carrey, was found dead Monday in a residence in Sherman Oaks.
White was found unresponsive by a friend in the home located in the 1500 block of Briarwood Drive, according to the coroner's office. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:40 p.m.
An autopsy has yet to take place and the cause of death is pending, but assistant chief coroner Ed Winter tells The Hollywood Reporter pills were found next to White's body. A suicide note was also found. According to Winter, the note is either addressed to Carrey or references him by name.
White and Carrey began dating in 2012 but broke up shortly thereafter. The couple was seen together again in May, reportedly attempting a reconciliation.
