VIDEO : Aaron Sorkin Apologizes to Apple CEO Tim Cook

Celebrity in this news:

Aaron Sorkin has issued an apology to Apple CEO Tim Cook over negative comments he made about the company. The screenwriter is promoting his new film, Steve Jobs. According to E! News, Cook had appeared to be less than enthusiastic about it. Earlier this month, Cook said that while he hasn't seen any of the films, he thinks "a lot of people are trying to be opportunistic." Sorkin responded this week at a round table press junket for his new movie.
The Hollywood Reporter quoted him as saying, "If you've got a factory full of children in China assembling phones for 17 cents an hour you've got a lot of nerve calling someone else opportunistic." On Saturday, Sorkin addressed the issue again.
He told E! News exclusively, "You know what, I think that Tim Cook and I probably both went a little too far. And I apologize to Tim Cook. I hope when he sees the movie, he enjoys it as much as I enjoy his products."
Cook and Apple have not commented on Sorkin's remarks.
