Rachel Weisz is in talks to star in the remake of the 1952 film My Cousin Rachel.
Based on the Daphne Du Maurier novel of the same name, the film follows the story of a young man who seeks revenge on the beautiful woman who he believes murdered his cousin/caretaker, leaving him an orphan.
The Mummy actress, was just at the Toronto International Film Festival to promote her film Youth, which also stars Michael Caine. Before this, Weisz was in Cannes in May for the premiere of her sci-fi dramedy, The Lobster.
Weisz just completed The Light Between Oceans, in which she will be be seen acting alongside Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander.
