Rising star Lily-Rose Depp has joined the cast of Stephanie Di Giusto?s directorial debut ?The Dancer,? a 19th-century drama based on the life of American performer Loie Fuller. Depp will topline Isadora Duncan, a San Francisco native who grew up in poverty and became a dance prodigy, quickly achieving worldwide fame. Fuller was a dancer born in rural America who pioneered the Serpentine dance and turned out to achieve international recognition at the turn of the 20th century.
