How's that for honest political commentary?
Wednesday's South Park picked up where last week's premiere left off, tossing in a few extra jokes at Caitlyn Jenner's expense. Again, though, the former Olympian wasn't the show's main target.
Instead, that target was Donald Trump ? or at least his non-union Canadian equivalent.
Backstory: Beacon of intolerance Mr. Garrison is furious about all the (Canadian) immigrants taking over his hometown. As it turns out, though, some of those immigrants don't even want to be taking American jerbs. As a tearful Canadian tells Butters partway through the episode:
?There were several candidates during the Canadian election. One of them was this brash asshole who just spoke his mind. He didn?t really offer any solutions, he just said outrageous things. We just thought he was funny. Nobody ever thought he?d be President. It was a joke! But we just let the joke go on for too long.
